Short Biography:

I, Saida Mahamuda Rahman, am a Lecturer in the Department of Development Studies at Daffodil International University. I completed my B.S.S. (CGPA 3.85) and M.S.S. (CGPA 3.94) in Economics from the University of Barishal, securing 1st position and receiving the Dean’s Award in both programs. I have two Scopus-indexed publications and two under review as the first author, and I have also served as a reviewer for a Q1 Springer Nature journal. Additionally, I have presented four papers at national and international conferences. I received the Research Award from DIU for my scholarly contributions. Previously, I served as a House Tutor at RASG2 Hall and currently work as the Convenor of the TIB–YES Group, DIU.


My academic and professional journey began with the Department of Economics at the University of Barishal, where I built the foundation of my passion for teaching and research. I take great pride in being an alumna of the Department of Economics, University of Barishal.
