Short Biography:

Dr. Gazi Md. Shakhawat Hossain is a Lecturer in the Department of Management Studies at the University of Barishal, Bangladesh. He holds a PhD and MBA in Management from the School of Management (Triple Crown Accredited—AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS), Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. His doctoral research examined the dimensions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and their impact on Sustainable Business Performance (SBP) of SMEs. He received the HUST Academic Excellence Award and was honored as an International Honorary Graduate in 2020. He also ranked first in both his department and faculty during his BBA studies at the University of Barishal. Dr. Hossain’s research interests comprise Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, and Strategic Management. His emerging focus includes management science and management engineering applications in SME contexts. Dr. Hossain has authored over 50 scholarly works, including journal articles and conference papers. His research has garnered more than 400 citations on Google Scholar, with an h-index and i10-index of nine each. He is widely recognized for his academic excellence and commitment to research innovation and institutional development.
