Dr. Abdullah Al Masud, an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Barishal, Bangladesh. His research spans CSR, sustainable and green supply chain management, organizational capabilities, technological innovation, and responsible business practices, with a strong focus on advancing sustainability-driven performance in emerging and global contexts.

He has published extensively in reputable Web of Science (WoS), SSCI, ESCI, and Scopus-indexed journals, including outlets ranked in ABS, ABDC, and other international journal quality systems. His scholarly impact includes 1697 citations, an h-index of 23, and an i10-index of 50 (Google Scholar, all years), reflecting the influence and global reach of his research contributions.

Dr. Masud earned his PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility from Jahangirnagar University. He has held multiple senior academic leadership positions, including Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Department Chair, Syndicate Member, Provost, and Finance Committee Member at the University of Barishal.

He has successfully led numerous national research projects funded by the UGC, World Bank, BICM, AUST, and other agencies, contributing to sustainability, climate resilience, innovation, and socio-economic development in Bangladesh. Prior to his academic career, he served as an Area Manager at Bata Shoe Company (BD) Ltd., gaining valuable industry experience in strategic planning, supply chain operations, and business development.

Dr. Masud is also active in editorial and peer-review roles, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Barishal University Journal of Business Studies and reviewing for top-tier international journals. He is the recipient of multiple honors, including the Best Researcher Award (2022 & 2023) and the Vice Chancellor’s Award for academic excellence.
